Spent a lovely, blazing hot summer morning hanging out with the founders of Ogimaa Mikana, a Toronto place name reclamation project. They do this really cool thing where they replicate street signs and kind of politely hang them over the municipally-sanctioned posts. So this piece was nice to do because they actually hit Queen's Park, and it was Aboriginal Solidarity Day. Learned some cool stuff, met some cool people, and got to do a piece outside of my comfort zone. Thanks to The Grid for letting me do the piece. And, just because it's deep summer, head back to this post to take a look at Kehinde's breathtaking shot of INM rallying on the Hill in deep January.
